RTS is happy to welcome Zoe Taleporos as the March/April 2013 resident. While at RTS, Taleporos will continue a body of research that explores the history of public access television, and ways in which artists have used it as a medium or exhibition platform. Her work will concentrate on the impetus to democratize television media, beginning with the activities of 60s/70s video collectives, and will explore the eventual use of public access television, particularly in New York City during the 70s/80s. Her work will be presented during the April edition of RTS Talks, and as part of The Lecturers, a series of commissioned online seminars.
